16' x 2' steel gate for a chinese society in Vancouver, BC. This ceremonial gate stands proud and bright along one of Chinatown's main streets. The louvers are articulated (no two angles are alike) to reduce the visual weight and provide variation within the stretched proportions. In collaboration with ASIR Studio and Dunnett and Brown Fabrication Works.
