Found Objects Design: Variable Insulation Window System
Packing peanuts, single pane windows, reversable shop vac.

Two single pane windows sandwiched together create a sealed chamber allowing polystyrene packing “peanuts” to be blown in by a small shop vac. The “peanuts” can be filled or removed within seconds, letting the user choose the insulation, transparency and shading values. This system takes two commonly wasted objects to improve thermal values of windows to that of an opaque wall. Light and views during the day; warmth and privacy at night! A truely pratical yet snowy spectacle!
