Kwakiutl First Nations Living History Center, Port Hardy, BC.

Located on the northern tip of Vancouver Island, this facility for the Kawkiutl community houses workshops, a performance hall and a traditional foods kitchen and restaurant. Housing is also provided for both visitors and locals. The geometries of the project are derived from the footprint of a colonial fort that existed here in the 19th century and overlaid with those of mobile homes that are currently on the site.
